Andrew Ausse

Growing up Andrew developed a passion to play sports, Lacrosse, and Football. During junior high he decided to join his mom on a journey to healthy eating and fitness. He quickly fell in love with working out, so much he destroyed his one pair of running shoes within 3 months. While shopping for a new pair of shoes he came across some CrossFit Nano 5’s on sale. After a few months, he figured since he was sporting CrossFit shoes, why not give it a go? In February 2016 Andrew joined his first CrossFit gym Praetorian CrossFit located in Perry, GA. Only took 1 class for him to discover his love for CrossFit. The CrossFit community, environment, and commitment to doing his best laid the path to an even heathier lifestyle.

Over the years Andrew became stronger; in October 2020 he chose to make the switch to Olympic weight lighting. He for 10 months trying to master techniques and get even stronger prior to heading off to college in Ohio. Here he joined CLE Barbell Club and PHYT CLE Athletics  to continue his passion in weightlifting. The staff helped him train to compete in serval competitions over the next two years. Returning to his love of CrossFit, Andrew started back up with CrossFit in January 2023; only this time he took it a step further. CrossFit changed Andrew’s life, impacting him within and outside of the gym. It was now his turn to give back to the community by becoming a coach, to teach others about the positive results of cross-functional fitness just like his coaches did for him. Andrew earned his CF-1 certification in June 2023.
